Where I was……here are a few hints.
I know, I know, it’s just a big red barn. But I’m sure all you "detectives" out there will start putting it together….
Nifty architecture, and this one looks really familiar….
But it’s not DC.
Or maybe there exists a food cart expert out there…
I’m not quite sold on sushi from a food cart though….
Here’s a version of a regional favorite….
Here is what it looks like in its more "common" form.
I’m sure by now you know…..so this should clinch it.
Yum, cheese curds. I love you! For once I’ve got a guess: Wisconsin, my home state. *does a little dance* Ah, Madison, WI. Did you go to the Cracker Barrel – I bet not but oh man you missed it then. 🙂
But did you get a deep fried hardboiled egg wrapped with bacon?
A deep-fried hard-boiled egg wrapped in bacon? Sounds intriguing.
Were you there long enough to hit the farmer’s market around the capitol building? That’s one of my favorite farmer’s markets ever; the perfect mix of unpretentious farmers, great produce and magnificent location.
Looks like you are in my neck of the woods, mister. Could it be the land of the cheeseheads in Wisconsin…
Thanks for all your foodie posts, formerly from SD too, and Hawaii..now lost in the hinterlands…
what are you doing in madison?
Mad city with many mini things..so cute. Sushi cart, chinese food to go, mini cheese poppers, cheese bites..:)
Hi Scott – LOL! Nope no Cracker Barrel…though we “cracked” some jokes about it. I kinda like cheese curds.
Hi Fred – Yeah, Scott’s got me intrigued about that deep fried boiled egg wrapped in bacon.
Hi Alan – I wish I did, this trip was for work, so most of my days were filled from morning to evening. We did manage a few side trips.
Hi KH – Greetings and welcome. I really liked the people and the laid back vibe. So how are things in Minne-SOOO-ta?
Hi Kristina – It’s a work related trip.
Hi MW – Gotta love Mad-town!
I would totally get one of those carts and be an Chinese Egg Roll hawker.
Hi SK – Don’t be so modest…you’d have the only cart selling Truffle Fries, wouldn’t you?
