Just a short post with minimal verbiage tonight.
Weather like we're having is made for Korean……
So we headed back to Prime Grill.
The Missus enjoys the steamed egg – gyeran jjim here. It's silky and creamy and reminds Her of the Steamed Chinese Egg Custard She had as a child. She was in the mood for some "comfort" food.
The women working here always give the Missus a quizzical look when She asks for Sesame Oil for the egg. This one is all for the Missus.
We also had the Seolleongtang, which we really didn't enjoy. It was thin, didn't have much beef flavor and we had to add more (than the usual) amount of sea salt to this to ramp up the flavor.
While we had the Seolleongtang and egg; we let the Dolsot Bi Bim Bap sit and let the rice crust develop.
It did hit the spot.
What are you good folks having during this wet weather

looks great!
We made bibimbap, harissa ravioli and green bean stir fry. Bought so many veggies so I need to cook them all this weekend! Hoping to try some tacos next week from Taco Thunder (which changed concept from Moto Deli) in Mira Mesa. Have a splendid super bowl weekend Kirk!
It did hit the spot Kat!
Sounds great Lynn.
We enjoyed bun rieu at Phuong Nga earlier today. It really hit the spot.
Having tried most of the other Korean spots, I really think that Prime Grill is the best. It also holds fond memories of the three of us having a great meal.
Glad you enjoyed it CC!
Yes, that was one….of many great meals we had together Cathy! I do miss Ed…..
Friends were visiting from out of town. Ate AYCE KBBQ at Kogi on Saturday. Relaxed at home yesterday. Too bad the Super Bowl was mostly uneventful. The commercials were more entertaining than the game itself.
I think that’s the norm for most SBs these days Junichi!
Wow… that steamed egg looks luscious!
The Missus likes the version here Derek!
