My apologies, both work and the heat have affected my posting schedule………
So here’s a preview of the upcoming post. Some really interesting Hue-style street food, here in San Diego.
Really good stuff, that Howie from A Foodies View, and CoderGirl, in addition to the Twins at Sandwich Emporium mentioned to me……..
Stay Tuned!

No, but what is it? Can’t wait to find out.
is it banh beo? except they look too big…
Hi Kirk:
Suanne was just commenting … do you eat out EVERYDAY?!? And you order so much food too. Hey, I enjoyed your blog and think you’re so lucky to have so much variety.
Ben
Hi Elmo – These were pretty good – a post is forthcoming.
Hi Anna – Your right, the little dishes are Banh Beo, the other plate has Banh Bot Loc and Banh It.
Hi Ben – No we don’t eat out everyday – just about 4-5 meals a week(or less). Leftovers are great…..
They look so good, I can’t wait to find out what they are.
Kirk, i’ve had banh beo and banh bot loc but i don’t think i’ve had banh it before…what’s in it? banh bot loc is yummy – i like the gummy texture of it and the fatty pork and bbq shrimp inside isn’t bad either :o)
Hi Noromdiam – Tthey are different, aren’t they?
Hi Anna – Banh Bot Loc is really yummy. Now I’ve got to find other places that serve it.
LOOOOVE bahn beo! My mom makes some mean bahn beo’s. The old schooler’s makes them much smaller than what we’ve seen go on in Westminster. I can eat like 20 of them easily.
Hi Jeni – Any rec’s on where in Westminster…other than trying to hunt down your mom….;o)
You know I’ve never had bahn beo outside the house. But EDNBM always talks about a place in Garden Grove called, “Quan Hy”…dunno if its good. I wanna try before the summer’s over. I’ll let you know bro!
Hi Jeni – I’ll look forward to your post….should be fun and interesting as always!
