Mama's Bakery & Deli Moving?:
At least that's what the sign says.
Man, it's been a while since I last visited. Though the Missus did drop by when we stayed at the Lafayette. Mama's has been here forever, though the address on the sign is right around the corner.
I'm going to try and stop by this weekend to see what's up.

White Rice Morena Closed?:
Was driving down Linda Vista Road when I noticed that the sign on White Rice Morena was gone. So, I made a turn into the parking lot.
Considering that this was during lunch hour, I'd say that they're closed? So, I guess no moa' "White Rice" (which I didn't think they made well here and even at their Normal Heights location).
It'll be interesting to see what moves in next.

Mama’s is historical for sure! don’t get other there very often for grub, but it’s pretty reliable and moving onto the main drag should help their business, which had zero parking. Thanks for the update!

I’ve been basically making mostly the same stuff or some pretty basic things Derek. There is one interesting kinda-sorta thing the Missus has me making weekly recently. It’s pretty much a short cut kinda thing. I might do a post on that one! Sisig, huh? Hmmm……
I noticed the same thing about White Rice when I visited the Rip Curl outlet a couple of months ago. It had been a while since I was there, my last visit was for their special kamayan dinner just before Christmas last year. I didn’t see any announcements on social media about the location closing, so I’m not sure how long it’s been shut down. I did however see an announcement that they expanded to LA.
I thought a spot near the university would do well, either way it was a bummer to see it gone.
I thought they’d do well there too Mar! They sure did go out quietly…..
